Redesign of the Mütter Museum, school and historical collector of anatomical, and pathological specimens, wax models, and antique medical equipment. The academic sophistication aspect was represented with the transitional-serif typeface Baskerville. The unsettling and uneasy quality caused by the morbid subject came alive through my customized typeface. Once read in the book "Type Tricks" by Sofie Beier, every letter has its basic structure: the skeleton. The design system revolves around the custom type, which is partially chopped, showing off its frame and embracing its unique architectural presence.
Secondary Typeface: Neuzeit Grotesk
